Traffic in parts of the capital city was heavily congested on Wednesday morning after steady rain from late Tuesday afternoon and into the night caused widespread flooding in Bangkok, Pathum Thani and Nonthaburi.
Many roads were inundated with the water reported to be over one metre deep in some areas.
