Mutations in Be The Final Boss can affect the ATK and HP stats of your Units/Minions. As of Update 1, there are three different mutations in Be The Final Boss: Shiny (30% stats buff), Cursed (100% stats buff), and Demonic (200% stats buff). There’s a random/unknown chance that every time you summon a unit/minion, it can have one of the three mutations.
