Construction of the world-class integrated transport hub in Belfast, funded by the Department for Infrastructure, is rapidly progressing.
Translink and the Department for Infrastructure, have recently joined hosts and construction partner Farrans Sacyr for a traditional ‘topping out’ ceremony. The occasion was marked with a ceremonial tightening of the last bolt in the highest point of the steel structure of the new Belfast Grand Central Station.
When completed it will bring further transformation of public transport in Northern Ireland. It will enhance local and international connectivity with bus, coach and rail links across Northern Ireland and beyond.
