ARA: The north wing of the new Koilwar bridge over Sone river will open for traffic on May 14. Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the three lanes through videoconference. The three southern lanes of the six-lane bridge were inaugurated on December 10, 2021.
The 1528-metre-long and 32-metre-wide six-lane bridge built parallel to the old Koilwar bridge will ease the traffic snarls and make travelling easy for the commuters coming from and going to Patna from south Bihar towns as well as the eastern UP areas.
