On Friday, March 1, the Bitcoin Students Network (BSN) was officially launched at the Bitcoin Atlantis conference in Madeira, Portugal. The BSN, initiated by Generation Bitcoin, aims to expand and coordinate efforts to involve more students in the world of Bitcoin.
The Cornell Bitcoin Club became the first to join the BSN, signaling the network's intention to extend its reach beyond the United States. The BSN's primary objective is to facilitate the establishment and growth of Bitcoin-focused student clubs at universities worldwide by providing logistical, financial, and general support.
