The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) submitted additional evidence to police over allegations Bitkub Online concealed a 2021 digital asset hack worth 1.7 billion baht.
SEC staff met Pol Col Winyu Jaemsai, superintendent of Sub-Division 3 of the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD), and Pol Lt Col Warat Sermsutjarit, an investigating officer, to hand over evidence and provide further statements as part of the investigation.
The regulator previously lodged complaints against Bitkub and two former directors following its investigation into the incident.
