The video depicts sheriff's deputies conversing with Colt Gray and his father following concerning online posts that were reported. Additionally, the suspect's mother has spoken out about a call she made to the school on the morning of the shooting, where a counselor mentioned receiving alarming emails from one of Colt's teachers regarding school shooting references.
Back in 2023, neighboring Jackson County authorities visited the Gray household after an FBI tip led them to the location based on an IP address trace. In the footage, Colt's father mentions his son being bullied at school and using hunting as a bonding activity. He expressed willingness to remove guns if the allegations were true.
