Boogie2988 has come under heavy criticism after a scene from his live stream went viral. On the 18th of March 2026, Boogie2988 had a heated argument with a disabled man named Turbo during a live stream on the LolcowLive channel. Turbo, who makes use of a mobility scooter, teased Boogie during a basketball game segment. In response, Boogie threatened, “I’m gonna make you more crippled,” while appearing aggressive. The clip quickly spread online, drawing criticism and sparking a lot of discussion from fans and viewers.
The audience was upset because the conflict involved a disabled person. In addition, Turbo was being aggressive during this live streaming session, to an extent that he ran into another user, Knightmare, with his scooter.
