Floral tributes are gathering where a father and his young son were killed while on their way to get ice cream.

Braiden Ashley Timmins, 33, and his son Hendrix-Hemi Te Rongomau King, 4, died after they were allegedly struck by a ute at Regents Park, south of Brisbane.
