INSANE: Boy 14 charged as man fights for life after street attack | Vintage Vibes

A 14-year-old boy is one of two people charged with assault after a man was left fighting for his life.

Police confirmed a man was attacked by a gang of young people, in the early hours of Tuesday, July 12. The attack, which has left the 55-year-old victim in a critical condition, happened at around 1.15am on on Stanley Road, near Bootle Strand.

After a string of arrests, that included four schoolchildren, police have now charged two people in connection with the assault. They are Jay Byrne, 26, of Leyland Road, Southport and a 14 year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons.
