CHENNAI: In 2021, during the second wave of the pandemic, when Mutchintala Sairaj Vamsheekar lost his job as a physical education teacher, he decided to take a long walk to clear his head.
And walk he did, all the way from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Seventy-five days, 3,700 kilometres. And carrying the national flag as a “constant reminder that he was free to choose, to live, to be”.
