In a bold act of protest, a group of demonstrators gathered at the Capitol building exactly one year ago during Election Day. However, their determination to create a disturbance in a restricted area led to their apprehension by the vigilant Capitol Police. The gathering appeared to be in support of the Palestinian cause, conveying their message by dropping shoes on the rotunda floor in an effort to emphasize the alleged number of casualties caused by Israel. It should be noted that the casualty figures provided by the Gaza Health Ministry, which is also known as the Hamas Health Ministry, have been questioned for their accuracy by US President.
The Capitol Police swiftly reacted and proceeded to remove the protesters from the premises. The utilization of flexicuffs ensured the peaceful and orderly evacuation of these individuals from the building, as per the established protocols. Although their demonstration was deemed inappropriate within the Capitol building, it is worth mentioning that they retain the right to voice their opinions and engage in peaceful protests outside on Capitol Hill.
