Carol Kirkwood has announced when her final appearance on BBC Breakfast will be.
The Scottish weathercaster’s last slot on the programme is scheduled for 1 April.
She confirmed the date on BBC Breakfast on Wednesday, 11 March, clarifying it is “not an April's fools” joke.
She is set to depart the organisation after 28 years, having joined the BBC Weather Centre in 1998.
Ms Kirkwood became BBC Breakfast's main weather presenter in 2010.
