NEW DELHI: After nearly two years of investigation, the CBI has closed a corruption case against former Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president Narinder Dhruv Batra and Hockey India Executive Director Cdr R K Srivastava, as it could not find evidence of wrongdoing, officials said on Friday.
The CBI had registered an FIR in July 2022 following a three-month preliminary enquiry that found prima facie material indicating "the commission of cognizable offences" related to criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, and corruption against Batra.
