Chase Budinger and Miles Evans' quest for men's beach volleyball gold at the Paris Olympics concluded on Monday with a defeat against the reigning Norwegian champions, Anders Mol and Christian Sorum.
Budinger, who transitioned from his aspirations of becoming an NBA star to pursue a medal in a different sport, alongside Evans, managed to secure a spot on the U.S. team after climbing the ranks in the pre-Olympic standings.
