Chelsea Football Club announced on Thursday that Chief Executive Chris Jurasek will be stepping down from his role and will be succeeded by Jason Gannon. Jurasek, who has been in the position for just over a year, will be returning to Clearlake Capital, the co-controlling owners of Chelsea.
In a statement, Jurasek expressed his pride in leading the club into its next chapter, stating, 'We have accomplished the task of building a team both on and off the pitch that means the club is well-positioned for long-term success.'
