Christina Applegate has been admitted to hospital after falling ill with a kidney infection.

The 53-year-old Dead To Me star has revealed she fell sick during a trip to Europe with pain and stomach issues and was left "screaming" in agony so she checked herself into a hospital as soon as she landed back in Los Angeles to undergo tests and "get some answers".
