EXPLAINED: Cocoa prices post moderate gains on strong demand - The Real Truth

Sep ICE NY cocoa (CCU23) on Monday closed +24 (+0.73%), and Sep ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU23) closed +37 (+1.41%).

Cocoa prices Monday posted moderate gains for a second session on positive carryover from last Friday when Gepex, an exporter group that includes six of the world's biggest cocoa grinders, reported that its Q2 cocoa processing rose +3% y/y to 161,433 MT.
