UNBELIEVABLE: Coffee prices close higher on support from tight supplies | History Defined

Ice Brazil may Vietnam International Coffee Organization USDA

May arabica coffee (KCK24) on Tuesday closed up +0.90 (+0.49%), and ICE robusta coffee (RMK24) closed up +28 (+0.85%).

Coffee prices continue to see support from tight inventories.  ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories on February 21 fell to a record low of 1,958 lots, although they recovered modestly to 2,471 lots on Tuesday.  ICE-monitored arabica coffee inventories fell to a 24-year low of 224,066 bags on November 30, although they recovered moderately to a 4-3/4 month high on Tuesday of 450,727 bags.
