UNBELIEVABLE: Coffee prices fall as the brazilian real tumbles | History Defined

September arabica coffee (KCU24) today is down -5.15 (-2.25%), and July ICE robusta coffee (RMN24) is down -83 (-1.89%).

Coffee prices today are moderately lower due to weakness in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL).  The real tumbled to a 19-month low against the dollar, encouraging export sales from Brazil's coffee producers.  Also, forecasts that called for rain next week in Brazil's coffee-growing regions have eased drought concerns and are weighing on coffee prices.
