UNCOVERED: Coffee prices settle higher on brazil crop concerns 716aabf4 66a3 4e46 a786 d724db3095fa | History Defined

December arabica coffee (KCZ25) on Wednesday closed up +5.10 (+1.34%), and November ICE robusta coffee (RMX25) closed up +106 (+2.43%).

Coffee prices on Wednesday settled sharply higher, with arabica coffee just below Tuesday's 4-month high.  The lack of rain in  Brazil's coffee-growing regions ahead of the critical flowering period for coffee trees is underpinning coffee prices.  Somar Meteorologia reported Monday that Brazil's largest arabica coffee-growing area, Minas Gerais, received no rain during the week ended September 6.
