UNCOVERED: Coffee prices settle mixed as robusta climbs on tight supplies - Caught on Camera

Sep arabica coffee (KCU23) on Monday closed down -5.00 (-3.11%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU23) closed up +12 (+0.47%).

Coffee prices Monday settled mixed.  Early strength in the dollar Monday (DXY00) weighed on coffee prices.  However, robusta coffee recovered early losses and moved higher on tight supplies as ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories last Friday fell to a record low of 5,422 lots (data history back to 2016).  Gains in robusta were limited by negative carryover from last Thursday when Cecafe reported Brazil's June robusta exports rose +60% y/y to 230,653 bags.
