  • The 2027 event will mark the 99th Oscars and is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 14 March, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, with live television broadcasts on ABC and streaming available on Hulu.
  • Producers Raj Kapoor, Katy Mullan, Jeff Ross, and Mike Sweeney are also set to return alongside O’Brien, with Academy leadership expressing enthusiasm for their continued partnership and O'Brien's
  • Kapoor and Mullan lauded O’Brien for his signature humour, warmth, and generosity, highlighting his role as a trusted creative partner who makes the entire production process genuinely enjoyable.
  • Looking ahead, the Oscars are scheduled to relocate from Hollywood to the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles in 2029, with that particular ceremony slated for exclusive broadcast on YouTube.
