Rituals in the run-up to the Ram Temple consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22, started inside the complex on Tuesday in Ayodhya with the anushthan (rituals) set to continue till January 21.
On Tuesday, prayaschita (penance) and Karmakuti Poojan took place at the temple complex, while the parisar pravesh (entry) of Lord Ram’s idol will be carried out on Wednesday. On January 18, the Teerth Poojan, Jal Yatra, and Gandhadhivas will be taking place at the temple.
