Americans for Prosperity, the conservative group, is organizing events at 20 gas stations this week where they will temporarily reduce the price per gallon to $2.38, a rate similar to what it was in January 2021.
The group is critical of President Biden's energy policies, attributing the high gas prices to actions such as shutting down the Keystone pipeline and banning energy leases on federal land. They argue that these policies have limited the country's energy resources and contributed to the increased cost of activities like family road trips.
