Construction contractors are being urged to play their part in the multi-million pound redevelopment of Grimsby’s Freshney Place.
A special meet the buyer event is being held next week, organised by owner North East Lincolnshire Council and Morgan Sindall, the company tasked with delivering the major leisure scheme. The drop-in session takes place between 9am and 3pm on Friday, July 7 at Grimsby Town Hall, with it pitched as a fact-finding mission for all involved.
The local authority swooped for the indoor shopping centre when it was placed into liquidation, completing the distressed purchase in August last year. Plans were already well advanced for the five-screen cinema, new market hall and further leisure options.
