Outspoken former federal Labor leader Mark Latham has used a witness box as his pulpit, accusing a left-leaning rival of being unable to take public criticism as he defends a homosexual vilification case.

Mr Latham gave evidence to a tribunal on Wednesday after being accused of vilification and workplace harassment by NSW independent MP Alex Greenwich.
