The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $1.2bn, but the odds of winning the lottery aren’t always in your favour.

After no winning ticket seemed to match all six numbers during Monday night’s Powerball drawing, the Powerball jackpot has climbed to a whopping $1.2bn prize. Now, lottery players are snatching up Powerball tickets for a chance at the fifth-largest lottery prize in American history.
