New York Yankees righthanded relief pitcher Jake Cousins of Park Ridge, Illinois will be out long term with Tommy John Surgery according to Darragh McDonald of MLB Trade Rumors. Cousins is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025 Major League Baseball regular season and the first half of the 2026 MLB season too. It should be noted that Cousins has not pitched at all during the 2025 MLB season, and last pitched on October 28 in game three of the World Series.
