NAGPUR: For the third consecutive day, the city reported one death due to Covid on Friday. The deceased, an elderly person, was admitted to a private hospital with a severe co-morbid condition coupled with Covid. After this death, Vidarbha’s toll is now 21,789.
The region’s 11 districts reported 436 new cases in the last 24 hours. The number of new cases have came down to under 500 after two days despite the number of daily tests above 7,000 for the second day in a row. In all, 7,020 tests were performed in the region in the last 24 hours. Total 430 patients recovered in a day. This took the number of under-treatment patients to 2,880. Less than 150 have been hospitalized across the region.
