August WTI crude oil (CLQ23) this morning is down -1.15 (-1.50%), and Aug RBOB gasoline (RBQ23) is down -2.13 (-0.280).

Crude oil and gasoline prices this morning are moderately lower. A reversal in the dollar today weighed on energy prices after the dollar index (DXY00) recovered from a 15-month low and moved higher. Also, technical selling sparked long liquidation in crude futures when crude prices failed to move above the 200-day moving average.
