Dancing on Ice kicked off its 15th series on Sunday night with a bang as 11 new celebrities take to the ice for the first time with the help of their professional figure skating partners. Hosted by This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, the celebrities will be competing week in week out to be crowned Dancing on Ice champion - and each week will be judged on their performance by Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Christopher Dean and Jane Torvill. And as the show began, with a crowd-pleasing group number to Whitney Houston's I wanna Dance With Somebody and a first impressive performance from Joey Essex, it wasn't just the skating skills that had viewers talking.
As the reality television star finished his routine, the show's presenters couldn't help but notice a rather sparkly bandage that was wrapped around judge Christopher Dean's little finger. Asking what happened, Christopher explained: "Jane was squeezing my hard in the lift...uh, my hand in the lift..."
