Dyson Daniels has top-scored for Atlanta but couldn't drag his team over the line as Boomers teammate Josh Green had the last laugh in Charlotte's tense 110-107 home victory.
Daniels had 21 points and four assists for the fast-finishing Hawks, who slashed a 19-point deficit on Wednesday (Thursday AEDT) and had a chance to tie the game with the final shot.
Onyeka Okongwu's three-point attempt under pressure rimmed out and CJ McCollum grabbed the offensive rebound, but couldn't get his follow-up shot off before the buzzer.
