UNBELIEVABLE: Date confirmed for rangers vs aberdeen viaplay cup final - The Untold Story

Aberdeen (Organization) Rangers Viaplay Cup SPFL Hearts

The SPFL have confirmed the date and kick-off time for next month's Viaplay Cup final between Rangers and Aberdeen.

The showpiece final at Hampden Park will be played on Sunday, December 17.

Kick-off for the match will be at 3pm.

Aberdeen booked their spot in the final next month with a 1-0 win over Hibs on Saturday.

Bojan Miovski netted the all-important winner with just 12 minutes left at Hampden after Jack MacKenzie was sent off with three minutes earlier.

Rangers, meanwhile, toppled Hearts 3-1 in the second semi-final of the weekend.

A James Tavernier double and Scott Wright strike sent Philippe Clement's side into the final. Lawrence Shankland netted a late consolation for Hearts.
