FOUND: Davv hikes fees by 15 in new academic session - What They Never Told You

INDORE: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has hiked fees of a few courses by 15% in forthcoming academic session.

The decision was taken in view of decreasing cases of Covid-19 and loss faced by the varsity in terms of funds. “Owing to Covid-19 pandemic for the last two years, there had been no fee hike. In the academic session 2020-21 the plan for fee hike was rolled back. However, after a gap of two years, there will be a slight hike in fees,” vice-chancellor Dr Renu Jain told TOI. The fee committee has already submitted report of increased fees to administrative officials and has got approval too. Apart from tuition fees, examination fee will also be hiked for students of affiliated colleges. The examination fee has almost been doubled in this academic session and there will be a hike for the university teaching departments (UTD) too.
