JAIPUR: Seamer Deepak Chahar is back in the state's Ranji Trophy squad which was announced by Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) ad hoc committee on Tuesday. After missing out on all the matches last season, the 32-year-old all-rounder will be seen accompanying captain Deepak Hooda as his deputy.
Having recovered from hamstring troubles, Chahar's tryst with injuries has always been a concern and he would hope that his body responds well and he plays through the season. The right-hand fast bowler also showed up for the Challenger Trophy which serves as the preparatory tournament before the domestic season begins.
