SHOCKING: Delivery driver stabbed and robbed in latest london knife attack - What They Never Told You

A delivery driver has reportedly been stabbed and robbed in broad daylight in Greenwich, prompting a police appeal for witnesses as officers hunt those responsible - (UKNIP)

An urgent manhunt has been launched after a delivery driver was allegedly stabbed and robbed in a residential area in Greenwich.

Emergency services were called to Blissett Street near Maidenstone Hill shortly after 5.30pm on Tuesday following reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers and crews from London Ambulance Service found a man had been stabbed.

The victim, believed to be a delivery driver, was rushed to hospital where his injuries were assessed as “not life-threatening”. He was reportedly targeted by thugs who then stole parcels from his van.

Police said on Wednesday no arrests had been made while enquiries into the incident continue.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called shortly after 17:30hrs on Tuesday, 25 March to reports of a stabbing in the vicinity of Blissett Street, SE18.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a man was located with stab injuries – he was taken to hospital where his injuries were deemed to be not life-threatening or life-changing.

“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD5958/25Mar. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visit crimestoppers-uk.org.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.43pm yesterday (25 March) to reports of a stabbing on Maidenstone Hill, SE10.

“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre by road.”
