A devastated mum has issued an emotional plea for her son to come home.

The last reported sighting of Jack Tanner, 25, was at Bootle Strand on Monday, March 28 at around 12:00pm. According to his mum Lynsey Barker, from Maghull, Jack had been taken to the Strand by medical staff of Clock View Hospital when he ran away.

Speaking to the ECHO she said: "Jack is very unwell at the moment and he has not got any of his medication on him, which is what he is in hospital for."
