Fremantle midfielder Neil Erasmus is reaping the benefits of his decision to stay and fight for a spot in Justin Longmuir's side as he prepares for his first AFL grand final.

The 22-year-old wingman rejected considerable interest from West Coast and the Western Bulldogs at the end of last season, signing a new three-year deal with the Dockers.
