Damien Cook's NRL career looks set to end this season after St George Illawarra confirmed the veteran hooker would leave after 2026.

The ex-South Sydney No.9 said in the pre-season he had been hopeful of a new deal with the Dragons, whom he joined on a two-year contract in 2025.
