A rapper has been spared a three-week murder trial after he pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a promising footy player on a busy shopping strip.

Jacob Tammer-Spence was charged with the murder of Sitaleki Filihiahekava after the victim was stabbed outside a restaurant on Marrickville Rd in Sydney's inner west in September 2024.
