EXPLAINED: Drivers risk facing huge fine if caught behind the wheel wearing designer trainers - The Real Truth

With better weather finally starting to make an appearance across the UK, the dry and sunny spring means that many can finally wear their favourite outfits - or more specifically, their most prized shoes.

Over the last decade or so, 'sneaker culture' has boomed into a multi-billion industry - with brands like Nike and Adidas leading the way with limited time colourways and collectors item designs regularly coming and going. Some of which feature outlandish designs with chunky soles, as well as innovative heel designs and other special features.

And while they may look good on the 'gram', these products generally aren't the best suited to be cruising around in a car in, and can actually land wearers with hefty fines and points on their license if caught sporting them behind the wheel.
