BIZARRE: Dry weather forecasts for brazil boost coffee prices - What They Never Told You

December arabica coffee (KCZ26) is up +11.00 (+3.95%) today, and November ICE robusta coffee (RMX26) is up +47 (+1.40%).

Coffee prices are sharply higher today, with arabica posting a 2-week high and robusta posting a 1-week high. Concerns that dry conditions in Brazil could hurt the prospects for Brazil’s 2026/27 coffee crop, currently in its all-important flowering stage, sparked fund short covering in coffee prices today. Meteorologist Climatempo said today that rain chances for Brazil’s Minas Gerais region, the country’s largest arabica coffee producing region, are limited over the next week.
