Dublin Fire Brigade has urged residents to keep their bin areas safe from hazards after putting out a blaze in a residential bin store.
The fire was extinguished yesterday and no injuries occurred as a result of the incident. However, the Fire Brigade took to Twitter to share important advice on avoiding similar fires.
They wrote: “The cause is unknown but in general our advice is to avoid placing hot ashes in bins until they have completely cooled 24 hours later.”
