Don't put away those raincoats just yet as the rain is showing no signs of letting up.
Met Eireann has forecasted further showers and thunderstorms for Dublin with plummeting temperatures. However, the national forecaster has revealed that summer temperatures will be making a return this week.
The mercury is set to rise to the low 20s towards the end of the week. Today will start off with sunny spells and frequent heavy showers in the morning. Some of the showers may merge into long spells of rain.
