The DVLA has issued further updates on the wait times for log books and paper driving licenses.
As delays have been made due to covid safety precautions and industrial action, the DVLA has suggested people file their applications online. This way, financial transactions won't face delays.
Paper driving licenses and log books still face delays due to a high amount of enquires and applications. Delays may also be more severe for complex applications such as those needing a medical investigation as part of the licence. Those who have already filed their applications and are waiting for the process to finish may still be allowed to drive.
