HISTORICAL FACTS: Elder abuse rising but support services are lacking - The Untold Story

Three years ago, a centre against sexual assault received a referral for a 65-year-old woman in a care home.

"She'd been sexually assaulted and the narrative around it was 'she has dementia, therefore she won't remember'," South East Centre Against Sexual Assault manager Amanda Parkinson told AAP.
