There are reports that a woman has been injured following a fall through a stand during Trooping the Colour. Crowds were evacuated as emergency services arrived on the scene.
Many onlookers had come along to today's event. The Major General reviewed soldiers of the Household Division and The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery in what was a near-identical event to the one that the Queen will review over the Jubilee bank holiday, reports the Mirror.
Witness Zoe Clark-Coates said: "What we just witnessed was terrifying, but we are safe! Part of the floor in the stand collapsed, and at least one person fell through. We are praying for the injured and shocked.
