Emmerdale fans have theorised that the current Jacob and Leyla storyline could mean that one, or both, are set to leave the show. During Wednesday's episode, Jacob was stabbed by Leyla's drug dealer, after arranging to meet him.
In tonight's episode, the reason that Jacob made the plans to meet the dealer were revealed - as Leyla admitted that she had bought cocaine that evening. Jacob, wanting to teach Leyla's drug dealer a lesson, decided to meet up on the pretense that he was Leyla arranging another deal.
But, when Jacob arrived at the meeting point - armed with a knife - things took a turn and Jacob ended up getting stabbed instead. This has left Leyla in a heartbreaking situation, as she is not only worrying about her son but has also faced an ultimatum from David.
