In a field obsessed with chasing marginal accuracy gains, Nuzhat Noor Islam Prova has taken a path defined by a different principle—creating AI systems that endure, adapt, and become benchmarks for others. With more than 45 peer-reviewed publications, including prestigious Q1 journal papers and IEEE conference contributions, her work spans precision agriculture, healthcare fraud analytics, and AI-generated text detection. Her architectures—such as the CBAM-integrated CNN for rice classification and the hybrid BERT+XGBoost detection framework—have been cited, extended, and embedded into research worldwide.

Beyond her own publications, Prova has reviewed over 350 manuscripts for leading Q1 journal venues, including influential submissions from Johns Hopkins University and UMass Chan Medical School—entrusted to her through IEEE Access—reflecting the caliber of research she is called upon to evaluate and her role in shaping the direction of global AI scholarship. Aligned with U.S. national priorities in agriculture, healthcare, and digital integrity, her innovations blend technical excellence with accountability. Today, we sat down with Prova to discuss her journey, her research philosophy, and why adaptability and interpretability define lasting AI.
